WE'VE MOVED!!!!
If you are wondering why we haven't made any posts here lately, it's because WE HAVE MOVED! We now have our own website! Be sure and look for us at http://www.rockinwaves.com . There you will find out Blog along with our show and all sorts of other cool things there. So, basically, that means that this page will become basically a memory of the early days of Rockin WAVES, how we evolved and so on and so forth. Let me just say, it's been a blast writing the blog here and sharing with yall what we have accomplished and what we have coming up. Blogger has been really kind and I've been satisfied with the support I've received from other bloggers over the years. But for now, we close the blogger chapter of Rockin WAVES as we now bring you more updates and other great stuff over on our website. www.rockinwaves.com . Who knows? We may be back here, you never can tell. For now though, KEEP ON ROCKIN!!!

The Offical Summer of Rockin 2013 Schedule!
Welp! After a year of thinking and scratching....we have come out with the Rockin WAVES 11294 Summer of Rockin 2013 schedule and this year we are bringing back some of your favorites mixed in with some new stuff as well. Also, we have a date of start for the Summer of Rockin, we will be commencing the Summer of Rockin starting on May 1st! Anyways, now on with the schedule!
Sunday:
4 - 5 PM Eastern - The Flying Scotsman Pre-Show with Chris Rogers: Come by and hear some great music as we get the runway of the Rockin WAVES Airport slathered up with Peanut Butter so the Flying Scotsman can land safely. Hear some great music and get in the mood to bring the weekend to a close.
5 - 7 PM Eastern - Drawing The Weekend to a Close with The Flying Scotsman: We are excited to have the Flying Scotsman have his first Summer of Rockin with us on Rockin WAVES 11294. Join us and hear him play some awesome music from Scotland and not just any old music, I mean SCOTTISH MUSIC! OH YES! So come on by and draw the weekend to a close with The Flying Scotsman!
Tuesday:
2 - 5 PM Eastern - Wipeout Tuesday: We have decided to bring back what was originally Wipeout Thursday with Wipeout Tuesday! It's the old Wipeout Thursday yall have come to know and love and we will be bringing you great oldies from the 50s, 60s, 70s, 80s, and 90s! As well as your requests! Come by and check us out!
5 - 7 PM Eastern - Car Tunes with Randy Carsten: Randy is going to be doing his first Summer of Rockin this year and it's the Car Tunes yall have come to know and love! He will be bringing you home from the beach and home from work with the best music (and if you are in your car, you can still pick us up via the app) so come by and check him out!
Wednesday:
2 - 5 PM Eastern - The Midweek Survey Show: Everyone's favorite show is back for a 3rd year! We are bringing the Survey Show back to the midweek and we will be playing your favorite songs from yesterday! Come back in time with us!
Thursday:
5 PM - ? - Billy Coore's Classics: Billy will be doing his first official summer but he has made appearances on Rockin WAVES during the Summer of Rockin in the past. He made his first appearance on the Summer of Rockin back in 2010 when he filled in for me during the summer when I would be traveling. Also he did a show in 2012 when he did the one show of Billy Coore's Classics but now that he has a permanent way of doing shows, he's doing his first FULL Summer of Rockin and we are very glad to have him on board! Join Billy as he takes you back into time along with Computer Play-Along videos and so much other random things.
Remember! All Summer of Rockin Programming begins on Wednesday, May 1st, 2013! Be sure and check out the Facebook group for more info.

5 Years of Rockin Out!
Again sorry for the lack of updates! The job has me running ragged and we are currently site shopping due to BlogTV merging with YouNow and currently leaving it's users screwed. We have found a new site BUT in order to find out what it is, you have to join our Facebook group to find out where you will find constant updates about the station and so much more and it's easy to find! Just search Rockin WAVES 11294 on Facebook and you will find it. So join our Facebook group and hang out with us and the gang at the new spot which you will find on the Facebook group.
Well, what's to update? Well, the new site for one which we are putting the finishing touches on so we will be able to launch on time. By the way, we've already done a few test broadcasts on there and so far we are getting a great response from the listeners! By the way, thanks to everyone for being understanding on everything getting switched around, we know it's hard on yall but just know that in the long run, it'll work out so in advance, thank you for being understanding and putting up with us as we make this move. It's not easy but these things happen.
The network really has been taking off this year! 2013 so far has been a really big year and I have a good feeling it will continue to be a big year and possibly even our best year. We are bringing on more DJ's from left to right and we are currently in negotiations with a couple of other DJ's about them coming to Rockin WAVES. More on that later. In the meantime, if you want to find out who our current DJ's are, again, go to Facebook, search "Rockin WAVES 11294" and join our Facebook group.
Also, this month, Rockin WAVES turns 5 years old! WOW talk about time flying by! We are currently working on some cool little projects for the anniversary so be on the lookout! It's going to be an all day event, that's right, I said an ALL DAY EVENT. That should tell you something right there. Now in order to find out what it is I'm talking about, again, go to Facebook and type in Rockin WAVES 11294 and join the Facebook group.

Time for an update!
Wow, sorry for the lack of updates again. Been busy at work with this being sweeps month we are having to be on top of our game at all times. And this is basically sweeps month for Rockin WAVES and we have some big things happening on the station! Including the addition of 3, that's right, 3 FULL TIME DJ'S! They are:

Car Tunes with Randy every Monday @ 5 PM: Tired after the first day of the workweek? Well no need to fear! Randy is here to get you home with Car Tunes for your drive home! Every Monday at 5 PM!
The Flying Scotsman every Sunday @ 5 PM: Well, after a great long weekend, you need to wind down and officially bring the weekend to a close, well, that's what our newest DJ is here to do. The Flying Scotsman will be playing great music and bringing the weekend to an official close every Sunday at 5 PM!
Plus, I am doing 2-3 shows a week on Rockin WAVES and soon, will be returning to the Hank and Jim Radio Network! So be on the lookout for that! Also, I got my new compressor in today and all hooked up and ready to go! Well, time to get head off here and make sure everything is in working order. You might notice....
That the blog has a new layout! Well we are doing some upgrades to the site. Trying to make it took more sleek and better. Well, we have some big news this week! Billy Coore's Classics has returned and will be airing on Thursdays after Surfin' To the Weekend with yours truly. His show will start at 5 PM. Also we have 2 new DJ's that are comign to the Rockin WAVES 11294 Radio Network! Randy and Jay and as a matter of fact, as I'm writing this, Randy is doing his first show on Rockin WAVES right now! Expect great things from this guy! Also expect great things from Jay as well! Well time to get back to hearing Randy's show. Thanks again to everyone who has supported us so far. More big things are to come this year! Be sure to be on the lookout!
